Sometimes the only or most practical resolution to many problems is to re-install the operating system (Windows). Or you may need to upgrade your system to a newer version of Windows. Thoughteater can provide this service to you for a flat-rate of only $216!

This price includes seamlessly migrating your data, like email, documents, favorites, music, photos, etc., to the new installation. Also included is hardware driver installation. This price does not include re-installation of any server operating systems. This price is for service only - it does not include the cost of the Windows operating system software or license. With a ThoughtEater clean installation of Windows, you will not have all the resource-hogging shovelware that most PC manufacturers load on to new computers.

Internet domains, web and email

Is your business still using AOL email addresses? Improve the professional appearance of your company by getting a domain name (e.g. mycompany.com) and email addresses at that domain (e.g. jdoe@mycompany.com). This can usually be accomplished for under $999, including domain name, basic web site, 50 500 MB email addresses, email configuration and a year's worth of web hosting (basic web site scenario).

† Price good only if Thoughteater is able to work on your system in their offices. Please allow 2-5 business days to ensure proper cleaning of system. Service provided at your location to clean a system of malicious programs is subject to the regular hourly rate.

§ If Thoughteater cleans your system and within 3 calendar days re-infestation is still evident on the cleaned system, Thoughteater will gladly refund your $135 service charge to you. However, before a refund is processed Thoughteater requires that you allow them a second opportunity to identify and remove the remaining virus or adware, and to determine if the re-infestation occurred before or after the Thoughteater cleaning process was completed. If it is determined that the re-infestation occurred after Thoughteater cleaned your system, this guarantee is invalid. This guarantee does not apply to future computer infestations. Thoughteater does not guarantee that your computer will never be infested again, but will provide you with recommendations to help minimize your exposure to future occurrences. No company can fully guarantee that your computer will never be infested again.

‡ If Thoughteater is unable to recover your data, then there is no charge to you for their time trying. The $200 pricing is for desktop computers, laptops, and workstations only. Price does not include data recovery from servers. If the total size of the recovered data is more than 5 Gigabytes (approx. 5,000 Megabytes), additional charges may apply. Prior to any additional charges being applied, you will be notified.

ThoughtEater is able to keep its rates low by operating out of small offices. This makes storage area limited. Systems left at the ThoughtEater shop or offices beyond two weeks after being notified they are ready for pick-up will incur a daily storage fee of $5. Any system left unclaimed beyond thirty days after being notified they are ready for pick-up will be destroyed or sold by ThoughtEater.
